Jesse Geneva DeLuca was born to Giani and Irene DeLuca. She grew up in both Italy and the US because her parents were immigrants who often visited family. She found her love for karate and martial arts at a young age, soon becoming her life. Her father pushed her, but after a bad injury in her senior year, she quit for a while. She went to a trade school for cosmetics before ultimately falling back in love with karate. She found her way to New York when she was hired as hair and make up for the Broadway show Les Mis.
