Following the admission of New Hanover to the Kingdom, Vancouver hopes for a Pacific Kingdom were shattered and the Colony accepted their admission to the Kingdom as inevitable. They however used their valuable Pacific port to their advantage in negotiations to join the Kingdom.

1.) The Kingdom of Vesperia shall be liable for the debts of Vancouver Island existing prior to its admission to the Kingdom.

2.) Upon it's arrival to the west coast, the Kingdom of Vesperia would pay for the construction of a bridge connecting the Cross Continental Railway to the Island.

3.) The Colony of the Queen Charlotte Islands (a Gold Rush established in 1853), was to be transferred to the new Province of Vancouver Island.

4.) The San Juan Islands (disputed with British Columbia) would be transferred to the Province of Vancouver Island.

4.) The Kingdom of Vesperia would provide the Province of Vancouver Island with an efficient mail service.

5.) The Kingdom of Vesperia will assume and defray the charges for various services.
