5 years after Character's Fathers passing, Character's Wife decided to leave and Divorce her husband due to his addiction and lack of incentive to provide for his family. When Wife divorces Character, she brings his only son with her. Character does not argue over custody of his son.

Character's self-destructive behavior continues over the years and without the gumption or drive to earn a living to feed his addiction he looks to sell all of the possessions in his house and even some of the essential components to keep the house in working order (such as electrical wire and coper plumbing). The last scrap of worth to his name is the old family work truck inheireted from his father when his father passed away.
