Karlie shows up to work and wonders where everyone is. She finds a post it on her computer telling her it's the 4th and a holiday and she could probably join her family upstate if she wanted.

Karlie just moves the post it and decides to get a head start on a new app since she's there anyway. When the fireworks go off, she worried for a moment there's some sort of attack before she sees the post it again and remembers it's the 4th and just fireworks.
