Dracon and his minions attack the small town of Hensburgh in seaerch of Nathair. Edward Cox is killed by his former schoolmate Colin King (aka, Drakon) while he tried to hold off Dracon to give the rest of his family time to escape. 6 year old Erica Cox is forever haunted by the image of the dark man with the bright eyes. 16 year old Frank Cox is never the same and lives with the feeling that it was his fault that his Father died because he didn't see the man watching him from the kitchen.
