President JFK, the 35th president of the United States was assassinated on November 22, 1963, in Dallas Texas. He was riding with his wife, the Governor of Texas and the Governor's wife when he was shot. Within the hour Lee Harvey Oswald, the shooter, was arrested. Oswald was shot and killed a day later.
