Beschreibung:

The process of using steel rollers to mill wheat was invented in Hungary in 1865. Paired, counter-rotating steel rollers powered by steam engines crushed the wheat kernels in order to separate the bran and the germ from the endosperm. The endosperm was ground and sifted several times until a finely-ground white flour is produced.
