many deem the movement in Albany Georgia a failure because it was not successful in its goal to desegregate schools in the community. however many people involved in the movement would not call it a failure. they claim that it was a learning experience. it taught them strategies and how to handle situations it taught the leaders of the civil rights movement new tactics as well.
