10 St. 25 Min, 14 Sept 2017 Jahr - Thompson's body found

At 10:25AM Thompson's body was found in Acorn Park. His head was covered in blood and there was blood on Thompson's clothes. There were two items near the scene that looked like potential weapons.
1) Walking stick make of redwood with the letters C and D carved into one end. Covered in blood and around 4 feet in length.
2) Redwood tree branch about 2 1/2 feet in length. Also covered in blood.
The tree branch and walking stick were collected for blood and DNA analysis.
