14 Aug 1937 Jahr - China bombs crowded Bund

Beschreibung:

On staurday 14th of August China aimed planes at Japanese destroyers settled on the Yangtze river but accidentaly dropped bombs on the crowded Bund (riverfront) which killed over 1000 people.
- despite this China still fought hard to combat Shanghai from falling.
- this showed Japan that China will not tolerate aggression.
- sought out for international notice, and the world did but took little action.
