Beschreibung:

A group of young military officers attmept a coup to remove what they saw as an obstacle:
- It split the military in to two factions:
* Imperial Way Faction (Kodoha): wanted revolution to remove the zaibatsi (family conglomarates), overthrow capitalism, assist poverty in the countryside, and establish a military dictatorship.
*Control faction (Toseiha): saw future war against the west which required cooperation with the bureaucracy (state officials) who governed Japan and the Zaibatsu to ensure Japanese military strength
