1 Jan 1933 Jahr - Agricultural Adjustment Administration
Beschreibung:
Agricultural Adjustment Administration was part of the New Deal. This was an agency that was created in 1993 to help raise farm prices by paying the farmers to reduce crop and livestock production. This was made to try and help famers recover from economic hardship which was a result of the Great Depression. The AAA helped increase profits for Landowners. The AAA also had hardships it had to deal with which were discrimination from sharecroppers and tenant farmers in the South. The new version of this act was later introduced in 1936, which helped with price supports, crop insurance, and a soil conservation program.
