In 981, theologian Czej Morhin began preaching the idea that the Prysvensian church had not only grown corrupted under the Potentate, but that there was actually no theological basis for the existence of the Potentate as a body of authority. This was a very dangerous idea to spread, especially by a member of the clergy, and Czej Morhin was burned at the stake for heresy later that year.

This enraged Czej's brother Wernir and many more who were swayed by Czej's lessons, directly leading to 13 years of armed uprisings known as the Morhinite War.
