Pepe Flags, created by Kekert, is a unique project that reimagines all 50 US state flags as versions of Pepe The Frog and his fellow frens. These reinterpretations blend political iconography with internet culture, creating a series of vibrant, meme-inspired artworks. The resulting images, capture both the essence of the original state flags and the playful, satirical nature of Pepe The Frog.

Tokens were issued starting at block 721797 on the Bitcoin blockchain, with initial artwork uploaded through the Kaleidoscope platform. All 50 art tokens currently have unlocked issuance, with 100 editions per flag as the starting supply. While many of the original flags were issued in the same block, some of the first include the Arizona, New York, Ohio and manys others. The first flag to sell on the Counterparty DEX was the Wyoming flag.

While the project began as a conceptual art piece, the art serves as both a playful homage to the internet subculture and a commentary on the intersection of digital art and political iconography with a mix of esoteric cult vibes.
