While on his way to Arlong Park, Shastacan comes across the 50-ship armada of Don Krieg. Shastacan decides to take Don Kreig into custody, and a battle ensues. Shastacan makes quick work of the armada before being confronted by the invincible Pearl. After a short battle, Shastacan sends Pearl flying into the ocean. As he tries to apprehend Don Krieg, he is stopped by Krieg's battle commander, the Silent Demon, Gin. Gin pushes Shastacan to his limits but is ultimately defeated and dropped into the sea. Shastacan makes quick work of Don Krieg and places him into cuffs, then into a holding cell within the ship.
