After switching clubs, and the new rule being enforced that leagues were going to be based off birth year instead of grade, relief, was the only way to describe it. I had been waiting a week that moved at about 1 mile per hour the results had finally come in. . . I had made the first soccer team for my age group, and so had a few of my former teammates. I was so excited when I heard the news. At tryouts, I thought I was maybe going to make the third team based on how good everyone else was, but to my luck, half those kids were on DA which means they are in a completely separate league which meant that I would be part of the top team!
