A series of coordinated terrorist attacks on Paris, France take place via suicide bombings and shootings, resulting in the deaths of 130 civilians, 7 of the attackers, and the injuring of over 416 civilians.

In response, the US, among other countries, commits to the arming and training of local forces in Syria and Iraq to combat ISIS.
