18-year-old Michael Brown was shot by the police officer Darren Wilson in Ferguson, Missouri. After an altercation Wilson shot Brown 6 times in the front of his body, even though he was unarmed and wittnesses claimed he had his arms up in surrender or said "don't shoot". Protesters used this in the slogan "Hands up, don't shoot", which was also used during the BLM protests.
