Wolfe is pressured by his generals to make a second attack.There was terrible rain,and so the attack was delayed for a day. When Wolfe found a goat path, the men used it to get into Abraham undetected. 5000 British men lined up in a double line facing the fort. . Montcalm leads a “volley”, but it does nothing, because the men weren’t 40 feet away from each other. Then Wolfe says. “Fire”, and completely destroy the army. The French retreat with the help of the Highlanders and the Aboriginal people, but the British chase them. The General tells them to continue to fight, and so a French soldier ends up killing him, but that bought enough time for the British to chase the French, which resulted in the loss of the French. Wolfe and Montcalm ends up dying in the battle. The actual battle only lasted 15 minutes, and 1300 soldiers died. The British were thinking to themselves how happy they were that they finally got New France, and how they can’t stand those Frenchies. The French were thinking how stupid is their general to tell them to keep fighting, and because of him they lost the war.
