Bob and Suzanne Wright were grandparents of a child with autism, and founded Autism Speaks. This organization advocates for "enhanced services, inclusion, resources, and support for the autism community" (Autism Speaks). This organization partners with the Autism Coalition for Research and Education, the National Alliance for Autism Research, and Cure Autism Now to increase the global awareness and inclusion for those with autism, and to help people better understand the diversity within the community of people with autism. Autism Speaks works to provide access to services and support, as well as research to make more informed clinical decisions and advancements in the medical field regarding autism. Autism Speaks uses the slogan "Together, we stand for a world of difference. Together, we will succeed" (Autism Speaks).
