Students at Kent State University organize a peaceful rally to protest the Vietnam War and the Invasion of Cambodia announced a few days prior. As a result of minor aggression from the students, the National Guard is called in and ends up shooting into the crowd of students resulting in 4 deaths.

Only two days later, 2 more students are killed by police at a protest at Jackson State University.
