6 decades after the Longest Winter had ended, Looks to the Moon was well aware that her superstructure will inevitably collapse so long as it doesn't undergo active maintenance. By reverse engineering the ID citizen system once used by more advanced superstructures, Moon could force her superstructure to identify Scavengers as a kind of cell that could modify the structure without retaliation from the 'body'. Many Scavengers begin establishing higher education to train the next generation and develop innovations to repair and improve Moon's structure.
