Joseph Nasi negotiates the Dutch Revolt with William the Silent, representing Suleiman the Magnificent. Solidifies "Liever Turks dan Paaps" among the Calvinists which resulted in Union of Utrecht.

This occurred after the Beeldenstorm which was a period of iconoclasm against great Catholic Art, like the Ghent Alterpiece, in St Baco's Cathedral.

Rebellion of Holland and other Northern states. Essentially took the form of an anti-Hapsburg rebellion.
