After a first phase of static tests, CAF (Construcciones y Auxiliar de Ferrocarriles) has just started the dynamic tests of its first hydrogen train.

Developed by a consortium of companies composed of CAF, DLR, Toyota, Renfe, ADIF, CNH2, IP and Stemmann-Technik, the FCH2Rail project has just reached a new stage. After validating its series of static tests at CAF's Zaragoza site in northeastern Spain, the dual-mode hydrogen fuel cell train has just begun its first dynamic tests on external tracks.
