Adam Mickiewicz founded the Fraternity of United Brothers, later renamed the Fraternity of National Service.
The Fraternity of National Service is renamed this time to the Congregation of the Fathers of the Resurrection.
The Congregation of the Sisters of the Resurrection was established in Rome by Celine and Hedwig.
Celine Chludzinska was born in Antovil near Orsha in the eastern territories of 18th century Poland.
Celine married Joseph Borzecki, one of the many men courting her, and had their wedding take place in Vilnius Cathedral in the chapel of St. Casimir.
Hedwig Borzecki, one of Celine & Joseph's daughters, was born, later becoming the co-founder of the Congregation.
Joseph Borzecki was paralysed by a stroke.
After 5 years of best care, Joseph Borzecki passed away.
Celine and her daughters arrived in Rome, living in rented apartments on Via Delle Vite.
Young Hedwig recieved her first Holy Communion by Fr. Peter Semenenko.
Celine and her daughter Hedwig set out on a pilgrimage to Lourdes.
The older daughter, Celia, met and married Joseph Haller in Warsaw.
Hedwig made a retreat directed by Fr. Semenenko which ended on the Feast of the Annunciation to the Blessed Virgin Mary.
Celine and Hedwig left their homeland for good and set out to live permantently in Rome where in a small group of seven women they began their new communal life under the banner of the Risen Lord.
The only supporter of Celine and Hedwig's cause, Fr. Semenenko, died suddenly in Paris.
Celine's daughter, Mother Hedwig, died suddenly in Kenty.
Finally, Celine received permission from the Holy See to profess religious vows.
Seven years later, Mother Celine herself died in Krakow and she was buried in the Kenty cemetery next to her daughter.
The first Sisters of the Resurrection arrived in Australia from the USA, from the request of Fr. Joseph Janus.
