Description:

Rachid Al Awraba encountered Idriss I after the battle and guided him to his home tribe of Awraba in Walili. After his arrival in 788, he married Kenza Al Awrabia and became recognized as the Imam of the tribe. After that, he would go on to convince other tribes to join him and spread Islam. After he went to a tribe he would leave a group of his followers to maintain control. This expansion finally caught the attention of the Abbassids.
