On September 24, ADEME (of which #FRET21 is a partner) signed an important agreement with the Groupement national des transports combinés (#GNTC). A step forward towards the decarbonation of #FreightTransport. What does this agreement cover? On the development and promotion of combined transport in France. And for good reason, shifting part of freight transport to alternative modes to road is an excellent lever for reducing the sector's #CO2e emissions. The focus is therefore on multimodal solutions, particularly combined rail-road transport, which has real potential for the near future.
